ESN Blood Donation - #SocialErasmus Week

Avete voglia di fare del bene? Avete voglia di dare un aiuto concreto? In collaborazione con il Gruppo Giovani dell'ADS Trieste, ESN ha organizzato per martedì 24 novembre 2015 una donazione di sangue nel centro trasfusionale dell'Ospedale Maggiore di Trieste.
Donare sangue è un'azione tanto semplice quanto importante: 10 minuti del vostro tempo possono salvare una vita intera!
Alle ore 9 ed alle ore 10 sarà presente una navetta nel parcheggio interno dell'Università Centrale che vi porterà al Centro Trasfusionale.

Se siete idonei e parlate italiano abbastanza bene...Venite a compiere un gesto d’amore!

L'iniziativa rientra nel progetto SocialErasmus che ha lo scopo di avvicinare gli studenti Erasmus al mondo del volontariato.
Dal 16 al 29 novembre si terranno le Social Weeks in cui tutte le sezioni europee di ESN saranno coinvolte contemporaneamente in attività a sfondo sociale.

QUALI SONO I REQUISITI PER DONARE?
-Buona conoscenza dell’italiano al fine di poter sostenere il breve colloquio col medico riguardo il vostro stato di salute (lo staff di ESN ed i membri del ADS Trieste Gruppo Giovani sarà felice di aiutarvi con piccoli chiarimenti)
-Età: compresa tra i 18 ed i 65
-Peso: 50+ kg
-Stato di salute: buono

QUALI SONO LE CAUSE DI ESCLUSIONE?
-Assunzione di farmaci (antinfiammatori: 7 gg di attesa prima di poter donare; cortisone ed antibiotici 14 gg di attesa prima di poter donare);
-Rapporti sessuali a rischio di trasmissione di malattie infettive;
-Epatite B o C, malattie veneree, ittero, positività al test per la Sifilide o AIDS;
-Tatuaggi e piercing: 4 mesi di attesa prima di poter donare.

Do you want to do good? Do you want to give a real help? With the collaboration of the ADS Trieste Gruppo Giovani, ESN has organized a blood donation on Tuesday, 24/11 at the Transfusion Centre of the Hospital Maggiore. Give blood is such an important and simple action: only 10 minutes of your time could save an entire life!
Reaching the hospital Maggiore will be easy: at 9am and at 10am there will be a shuttle which will take you from the inside parking of the Central University to the Transfusion Centre.
If you fit the requirements and speak Italian quite well…come and make a caring gesture!

This initiative is part of the SocialErasmus project which aims to approach Erasmus students to volunteering.
From 16th to 29th November the Social Weeks will take place: all european ESN sections will be engaged into voluntary work.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE AN ELIGIBLE DONOR?
-Good knowledge of Italian language: you should be able to talk during the brief interview with the doctor about your health (the staff of ESN and members of the ADS Trieste Gruppo Giovani will be glad to help you if you may need a little explanation)
-Age: between 18 and 60 years old
-Weight: 50+ kg (110 lbs)
-Being in good health

YOU CAN NOT DONATE BLOOD IF:
-You took a medicine (anti-inflammatory: you should wait for 7 days before you can donate; cortisone and antibiotic: you should wait for 14 days before you can donate);
-You have a high risk sexual behavior
-You have been exposed to the hepatitis B or C, AIDS or Syphilis;
-You had a body piercing or a tattoo in the last 4 months.
